Week of November 8th

What a fun week! We spent the week using the Mac computers to blog about what chapter book or nonfiction books we are reading.

We also explored the www.pearsonsuccessnet.com site and took a benchmark test there. Don't forget this is a website where you can go to get a copy of the leveled reader we are reading in guided reading, as well as, lots of other cool things. We also went over,again, how to get homework off of the Fifth Grade website and how to bookmark this site at home. We explored some Web 2.0 websites from the Language Arts link on the fifth grade site as well.

We also wrote about a time we wanted something we couldn't afford. (which is pretty much a daily realization in my life, wasn't hard to think of something) :)

We ended the week with Free Friday where those students who had four or fewer marks on their green sheets for the last two weeks, got to enjoy some free time. Way to go guys! Thanks for your leadership, you deserve it. Our next Free Friday is December 3. Get your homework turned in on time so that you can go!!! One more week until break, we can do it!!!
